MUDSoft Presents...
Firmware Infirmary

In the near future, cybernetic enhancements have become mainstream. A small population dares to go even further, getting extra-anatomical cybernetics that go far beyond just enhancing the body.

You play as a mechanic working out of the Night District, where extra-anatomical performers light up the stages. An unknown disease begins spreading through this community, and as panic spreads, you’re the only mechanic left who will repair, replace, and fix their cybernetics.

Dive deep into their circuitry, puzzle out their issues, hear their stories, and uncover the truth behind the plague in Firmware Infirmary.

Meet the Customers

Tusk

An event organizer and promoter, famous for his nightly revue show Tusk’s Nightcap.

While he is a capitalist in his heart, he is also a genuinely good guy, who cares for his performers.

He acts as a buffer between his extra-anatomical performers, and the brunt of the city’s indifference.

Camilla

Her mermaid performance at Tusk’s Nightcap features complex swimming, aqua-acrobatics, and occasional swimming.

When not performing, she gets around via a wheelchair.

Her show is comparatively the most popular in the community.
Twinkel Final (1).png

Twinkle

A classically trained singer, Twinkle is one of the oldest of the extra-anatomical folks in the city.

She has a beautiful voice that can rival the greatest singers uptown, but has never had the opportunity to perform among them because of people’s perception of her and her legs.

YPZ (4).png

YPZ

Billed as a “living synthesizer”, YPZ creates music with his hands, connected to his facial speaker.

He dramatically swings his arms like a maestro, beckoning music forth from himself.

He’s also often a DJ at Tusk’s Nightcap, behind the turntables during Zuri’s dance number, or running backing tracks for Twinkle.

Greg

Greg works at MEDicil, a major pharmaceutical corp uptown. He received his extra-anatomical cybernetic as a teenager after an accident. It was supposed to be a stop-gap solution, in order to one day restore his “proper anatomy”.

Greg, however, felt a compelling force whenever he looked into his own empty space. He skipped his follow-ups, preserving his cybernetic as best as he can, and was inspired to enter medicine by this compulsion.

He hides his cybernetic beneath clothing most of the time in order to move through society undisturbed.
